Gov't to Hold Session in Handlova One Year after Assassination Attempt on Fico

Bratislava, May 13 (TASR - One year after the assassination attempt on Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD), the government will hold a session in the town of Handlova (Trencin region) on Thursday (May 15), TASR has learnt from the Government Office's press department. Fico previously announced that the Smer-SD party is planning to hold several events on Thursday, the anniversary of the assassination attempt, including a public gathering in Handlova, where the situation in society and the risk of increasing tension and polarisation as a result of political events should be addressed.
