House Chair Rasi Begins Official Visit to Hungary

Budapest, May 13 (TASR-correspondent) - House Chair Richard Rasi (Voice-SD) begin his official visit to Hungary on Tuesday by meeting his Hungarian counterpart Laszlo Kover, TASR has learnt from its Budapest correspondent.
Before his meeting with Kover, the Slovak House chair laid a wreath at Jan Kollar's memorial plaque on Deak Ferenc Square and met representatives of Slovaks living in Hungary.
In the afternoon, Rasi will be received by Hungarian President Tamas Sulyok and Premier Viktor Orban.
Rasi took part in a conference of leaders of EU parliaments in Budapest on Monday (May 12), with the future of Europe being its central theme. "Slovakia will continue to be a reliable partner in the EU. We're ready and determined to cooperate closely within the Union in seeking solutions to global challenges," he said.
