Banovce nad Bebravou/Bratislava, May 11 (TASR) - The Hlas-SD party will not support any fiscal consolidation measures that would come at the expense of families, party chair and Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok declared during a Sunday press conference in Banovce nad Bebravou. Sutaj Estok emphasized that the coalition party is preparing several pro-family initiatives and believes it has the support of the broader coalition, as many of these policies are enshrined in the government’s Manifesto as well. He also confirmed that Voice-SD has already conveyed its “red lines” to the Ministry of Finance. “We have clearly defined our red lines, which we will never cross under any circumstances. In the process of consolidation, we will always protect the most vulnerable — our pensioners, workers, and above all, families. We will not agree to any consolidation measure that negatively impacts our families,” said Sutaj Estok. ` mf
