Bratislava, May 9 (TASR) - Opposition Progressive Slovakia (PS) leader Michal Simecka praised the words of the newly elected Pope Leo XIV, in which he spoke about the values of peace and cooperation, TASR has learnt from the party's media department. "The values of peace, dialogue, and cooperation are becoming even more important in the world today than usual. I believe that Pope Leo XIV will visit Slovakia, and these values will resonate positively in our society and political representation," stated Simecka. American Cardinal Robert Prevost was elected on Thursday by the conclave as the 267th pope of the Catholic Church. The newly elected pope has taken the name Leo XIV. lin
