Bratislava, May 8 (TASR) - We must not forget the victims of the Second World War and those who gave their lives in the fight to defeat Nazism, stated Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party leader Branislav Groehling in a social media post on the occasion of Thursday's 80th anniversary of the end of the war. According to Groehling, the anniversary of the end of the war and the victims who gave their lives to defeat ideology that denies the right of nations to exist are even more important on this day. "Such an ideology is returning to Europe. Russian President Vladimir Putin is once again denying the right of nations to exist, attacking a sovereign country and waging war beyond our borders," noted Groehling. "Celebrating the end of the war with a man who is actively waging war in Europe and killing innocent people is a stain on the memory of this day," stated Groehling in response to Premier Robert Fico's departure for Moscow on Thursday. lin/df
