ZOJ Condemns Attack on Judge, Regardless of Perpetrators' Motive

Bratislava, May 7 (TASR) - The judges' Association For an Open Judiciary (ZOJ) has strongly condemned Wednesday’s attack on a judge in Turcianske Klacany, regardless of the perpetrators’ motives, TASR learnt from ZOJ spokesperson Katarina Javorcikova on the same day. The association expressed full support for the assaulted colleague and her family, and hopes the incident will be investigated as soon as possible. According to media reports, the judge was assaulted by two unknown men, prompting the police to immediately launch an extensive manhunt for the attackers. Eyewitnesses reported that police patrols were stopping and searching vehicles on roads leading out of Martin. mf
