Sutaj Estok Hands Over New Fire Engine to Volunteer Brigade in Pobedim

Bratislava, May 5 (TASR) - Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok (Voice-SD) handed over new firefighting equipment to the Volunteer Fire Brigade of the village of Pobedim in the Trencin Region, TASR learnt from ministry spokesperson Matej Neumann on Monday. The donation consists of a CAS 30 Iveco Trakker fire engine. The spokesperson underlined that the new vehicle will significantly enhance the brigade’s readiness and ability to protect citizens during emergency responses. “I’m pleased that we’re gradually managing to modernize the equipment of professional firefighters and pass on the vehicles they used previously to volunteer units. I believe this gift will assist them well and improve the quality of their demanding and responsible work,” stated Sutaj Estok. mf
