Bratislava, May 5 (TASR) - President Peter Pellegrini has not yet decided whether he'll sign the amendment to the law on non-profit organisations, TASR has learnt from the President's Office communications department. "The president will review the materials and make a decision within the legally prescribed time-frame," said the communications department. Parliament approved the amendment to the law on non-profit organisations, drafted by the coalition Slovak National Party (SNS), in April. It introduced several changes. Among them is a new obligation for NGOs to produce a transparency report and disclose information on their use of public funds. Several non-governmental organisations and the Slovak Towns Union have called on the president not to sign this amendment, while the opposition has also urged him to refrain from doing so. lin/df
