Bratislava, May 2 (TASR) - The Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation Ministry has signed contracts for six more projects worth €6.3 million from the Slovakia Programme, the ministry told TASR on Friday, adding that the projects mainly focus on modernising schools, developing local roads and improving infrastructure in the regions.
"I'm glad that we're succeeding in moving the EU funds to where people really feel them - to schools, roads, public areas. These projects are not just about numbers, but about specific changes in everyday life. When a school is renovated or local roads are repaired, life in the municipality improves and people see that EU funds make a difference. And that's exactly our goal - delivering results that have an impact," said Investment Minister Samuel Migal (Independent).
