Kmec: Slovakia to Receive Fifth Recovery Plan Payment Down to a Single Cent

Brussels/Bratislava, April 8 (TASR-correspondent) - Slovakia's fifth payment request worth €570.4 million was the fulcrum of talks between Vice-premier for Recovery and Resilience Plan Peter Kmec (Voice-SD) and representatives of the European Commission in Brussels on Tuesday, with Kmec underlining that Slovakia won't use a single euro. TASR learnt the news from its special correspondent in Brussels. Kmec detailed that he had held the talks with European Commissioner for Trade Maros Sefcovic, European Commission for Economy and Productivity Valdis Dombrovskis and Recovery Plan department general director Celine Gauer. "We assessed that conditions for the fifth payment of €570 million have been successfully met. The payment is now in the approval process and I can say that these finances resources are expected to come to Slovakia's account throughout May," added Kmec. mf
