Health Ministry Seeking Head of Emergency Medical Service's Operations Centre

Bratislava, April 8 (TASR) - The Health Ministry has announced a public contest for the post of director of the Emergency Medical Service's Operations Centre (OS ZZS). The ministry has specified on its website that those interested in the post must meet, among other things, certain professional criteria, including at least five years of professional experience in the field of health care, insurance, law, economics or other related fields. Applicants must also prepare a draft strategy for developing the institution. They have until April 28 to send their applications to the ministry. OS ZZS has been led by Marian Povolny since February, while Osama Al-Khaldi held the director's post before him. He had been at the helm of the institution since August 2024, but he had been head of OS ZZS on a temporary basis since last February. ko/df
