Premier Fico Leaves for Serbia to Meet Vucic and Vucevic

Bratislava, November 21 (TASR-correspondent) - Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) left for a one-day official visit to Serbia on Thursday morning, TASR has learnt from its special correspondent. Fico is scheduled to meet Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Premier Milos Vucevic in Belgrade. They will discuss Slovak-Serbian economic relations and opportunities to develop them further. Issues related to the EU accession of Serbia and other countries of the Western Balkans are on the agenda of the talks as well, the Government Office has informed TASR. Fico and Vucic will follow up on a meeting held between the leaders of Slovakia, Serbia and Hungary in the Slovak town of Komarno (Nitra region) in October, which was dedicated to measures to curb illegal migration. As part of his agenda in Serbia, the Slovak premier will open an economic forum that will be attended by several dozen Slovak businessmen. The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce at the forum. Fico will be accompanied on his official visit to Serbia by other cabinet ministers: Defence Minister Robert Kalinak (Smer-SD), Economy Minister Denisa Sakova (Voice-SD) and Foreign Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD). ko/df
