Nociar New Head of Slovakia's Permanent Representation to EU as of October 1

Brussels, October 2 (TASR-correspondent) - Slovak diplomat Juraj Nociar assumed the post of Slovakia's Permanent Representative to the EU in Brussels on Tuesday (October 1), Slovakia's Permanent Representation to the EU has confirmed for TASR.
Until now, Nociar has served as head of Slovak Commissioner Maros Sefcovic's office, and before that he held the post of general director of the Foreign Affairs Ministry's European Affairs section.
"I am looking forward to cooperation in promoting Slovakia's interests in the EU," Nociar has posted on a social network.
From the end of August until the beginning of October, ambassador Maria Malova was tasked with managing Slovakia's Permanent Representation to the EU as chargé d´affaires.
Nociar served as head of Sefcovic's office as of 2010. He held the post during the terms of three EC presidents: Jose Manuel Barroso, Jean-Claude Juncker and Ursula von der Leyen.
