Bratislava, September 10 (TASR) - Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenicky (Smer-SD) and his Moldovan counterpart Victoria Belous signed on Tuesday in Bratislava a protocol to the treaty between Slovakia and Moldova to prevent double taxation.
Belous was part of the delegation of Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean, who was also received by Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD).
"Together with Moldova's finance minister, we signed an addendum to the treaty to prevent double taxation, which we had already signed with the Republic of Moldova in 2003," stated Kamenicky.
According to him, Moldova wants to intensify its steps in the EU accession negotiations. "This protocol, which we signed today as an addendum, is one of those steps," added the Slovak finance minister.
