SHMU: Month of June Above-average or Even Abnormal in Terms of Air Temp

Bratislava, July 3 (TASR) - This year's June was above-average or even abnormal in terms of air temperature, with the highest deviation from the recorded 1991-2020 monthly average being 3 degrees Celsius measured at the Lomnicky Stit peak, the Slovak Hydrometeorological Office (SHMU) reported on its website.
The lowest deviation in the recorded air temperature was 1 degrees Celsius measured by the meteorologists in Rimavska Sobota. The top monthly average air temperature was 21.9 degrees Celsius in Hurbanovo and the lowest 14.8 degrees Celsius in the village of Vysna Boca.
In most of Slovakia, the month of June was normal in terms of precipitation. However, at some locations (Hurbanovo, Nitra and other stations), record-setting humidity was detected.
