Bratislava, June 3 (TASR) - The EuroVelo 13 cycle route, from Bratislava's borough of Devinska Nova Ves via Devinske lake and Vysomarch Bridge to the village of Vysoka pri Morave (Bratislava region), is closed at the moment, announced Bratislava Regional Authority (BSK), citing the flooded Morava River as the reason for this. "The popular cycle route has been closed due to the flooding of the Morava River. First-degree flood activity was declared on the given section," said BSK. According to BSK, the Morava River broke its banks, which led to several sections of the cycle route being flooded, making it impassable and dangerous for cyclists. In order to protect their health and safety, the regional authority decided to close it. BSK has called on all cyclists to respect the given regulation and use alternative routes. The cycle route will be closed until further notice. This will depend on the situation on the Danube and Morava Rivers as well as on the weather. ko/df
