Bratislava, May 23 (TASR-correspondent) - SNS leader Andrej Danko delivered a speech at a rally in Prague, organised by chair of the Czech Direct Democracy party Tomio Okamura on Thursday, and wished Czechs a government that would put the Czech Republic first, TASR learnt from its special correspondent in Prague on the same day. "I wish you a government that won't kowtow to other powers [...] I wish you a government that will fight for you the same way we fight for Slovaks today," he declared. Danko also pointed out to the need to fight for one's own state, instead of engaging in internecine bickering within the nation. "The state must come first for every true patriot," claimed the SNS leader, who directed criticism against the EU too, adding that neither Slovakia nor the Czech Republic have joined it only to submit to dictation from Western states. Danko underlined that the Czech Republic and Slovakia belong together. "No one needs to preach about peace and calm to us, Slovaks and Czechs. We had a long period of cohabitation together and we always managed to make an agreement decently. No state or politician can ever manage to split us apart," he said and emphasised the importance of the Visegrad Four (V4: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) group. Danko blasted several NGOs and broached the recent attempt on Prime Minister Robert Fico's (Smer-SD) life in Handlova, adding that he will say 'hi' to Fico from the rally-goers in Prague. mf/mcs
