9. mája 2024 18:07
Bratislava, May 9 (TASR) - The harmonisation of national legislation with new European fiscal rules, in particular the linking of public expenditures to the net expenditure indicator is the aim of a bill on public administration budgetary rules sponsored by the Finance Ministry that Parliament definitively passed via a fast-tracked procedure on Thursday. The Finance Ministry also proposed in the bill a limit on this year's public expenditures. As the goal is to meet stages of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the limit will be set at €57.717 billion. The consolidation of public finances will hinge on progress in meeting the public debt referential limit of 60 percent of GDP and the public finances deficit limit of 3 percent of GDP. mf/df
