Bratislava, May 7 (TASR) - An extraordinary parliamentary session with a no-confidence motion in Health Minister Zuzana Dolinkova (Voice-SD) will take place on Thursday (May 9) at 5.30 p.m., TASR learnt from Parliament's press department on Tuesday. Opposition parties Progressive Slovakia, KDH and 'Slovakia' see several reasons to dismiss the minister, citing the failure to address problems of the health care sector, the looming collapse of the outpatient department segment and the shortage of nurses. They also claim that the EU funds have been put in jeopardy and criticise what they see as a "non-transparent decision" regarding the construction of a new university hospital, which was originally supposed to be build at Bratislava's Razsochy. Opposition's SaS party, however, hasn't supported the convening of the session, arguing that some of the opposition lawmakers carry responsibility over some of the problems for which they blame the minister. Health Minister Dolinkova sees no reason to end her tenure. She called the opposition's initiative a "pathetic politicking" and desperation shown by MPs Marek Krajci ('Slovakia', Christian Union, For the People) and Oskar Dvorak (PS), as indicated by the "expert opinion" of SaS. Dolinkova added that the Razsochy hospital project is a failure of the governments of both Eduard Heger and Ludovit Odor, for which MPs Dvorak and Krajci worked. mf/mcs
