Education Ministry to Relocate to New Premises

Bratislava, April 30 (TASR) - The Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth will relocate to new, better-fitting premises, as the current building fails to meet the size and capacity requirements of the ministry, TASR learnt from the ministry's press department on Tuesday. The new building will afford enough space for all employees, who are currently working dispersed in five different buildings. The priority criteria in choosing the new location were the cost/benefit ratio of the rented property and accessibility for employees. "Based on market research, the Money for Value department (UHP) assessed the two most suitable locations: Westend Gate (Patronka) and Spectrum Tower (Petrzalka)," said the press department. Subsequently, the ministry carried out an anonymous survey among its employees to let them voice their preferences. It turned out that the majority of employees prefer the location in Petrzalka. mf/mcs
