Vysoke Tatry, April 26 (TASR) - The oldest national park in Slovakia will celebrate its 75th anniversary this year, which was one of the impulses for the Tatra National Park Administration (TANAP) to prepare an open day for visitors, TASR learnt from TAPAP Administration's website on Friday. It will be the first event of this kind in TANAP's history and will take place next week between May 2-4. "It will be a celebration of Tatran nature, its diversity and uniqueness, but also a celebration of those who lovingly care for and protect it. Our employees will introduce those interested to the secrets of the natural world and the activities they are engaged in at their workplaces and in the field," said the TANAP Administration. Through the event, according to Igor Stavny from the environmental education department, the conservationists want to highlight the rarities of the nature of the largest national park and present the activities of the organisation itself. am/mcs
