Stats Office: Construction Work Prices Up 5.5 percent Y-o-Y in March

Bratislava, April 26 (TASR) - Construction work prices went up by 0.7 percent on a monthly basis in March, rising by 5.5 percent year-on-year (y-o-y), the Statistics Office reported on Friday. In the first three months of this year, construction work prices posted growth of 5.9 percent in yearly terms. Construction material prices in March went up by 1.4 percent from February, but they fell y-o-y for the seventh consecutive month - by 2.9 percent. In January-March 2024, prices of materials used in the construction sector decreased by 2.3 percent y-o-y. ko/df
