SaS: Bear Situation Critical, Taraba Should Create Multipartisan Expert Group

Bratislava, April 8 (TASR) - SaS party finds the bear situation in Slovakia alarming and asks Environment Minister Tomas Taraba (SNS nominee) to create a working group of experts from across the political spectrum with an eye towards reaching a nationwide consensus, TASR learnt from SaS spokesperson Ondrej Sprlak on Monday. "The problem with bears is here and it's real. And when there's a problem, it must be addressed," said MP Alojz Hlina (SaS), who doesn't believe that amending the Civil Protection Act is a good solution. mf/mcs
