Caputova on Teachers' Day: Many Teachers Work in Spite of Working Conditions

Bratislava, March 28 (TASR) - Many teachers fulfill their mission not thanks to, but in spite of the conditions in which they work," said President Zuzana Caputova on the occasion of Teachers' Day on Thursday. "You don't give pupils only knowledge, but also something of yourself, of your natural authority. This human input into your profession is not possible without your love for it," remarked the president, wishing teachers that the society would reciprocate this in the form of a dignified status of education and its employees. zel/mcs
