Bratislava, November 13 (TASR) - The Government Manifesto gives a signal that stealing will pay off again, the Slovakia party told a press briefing on Monday, claiming that the cabinet deceived the people and election promises haven't been kept. The Slovakia party criticises the reduction of punishments for corruption and economic crimes as well as the changes at the Special Prosecutor's Office, which, according to the party, are obviously on the way. It considers such changes to be a signal to society that stealing is worthwhile again. Party leader Igor Matovic claims that the government deceived the people because despite election promises, it plans to scrap the parental pension for parents whose children work in Slovakia. Also, it doesn't guarantee a reduction in food and energy prices. The Slovakia party also pointed out that the planned split of the public-service broadcaster RTVS is an attempt to seize control over it. "The division would put the last nail in the coffin of objective and independent journalism," stated MP and ex-culture minister Natalia Milanova. According to MP and former health minister Marek Krajci, there isn't anything new in the field of health-care, pointing out that it isn't clear whether the construction of Razsochy university hospital in Bratislava will continue. He also criticised that although the government refers to the need for regulation in the health-care sector, it seems that it will continue to hand out to private individuals. am/mcs
