Health Ministry Announces Public Contest for NCZI Director

Bratislava, August 28 (TASR) - The Health Ministry announced a public contest for the post of the National Health Information Centre (NCZI) director. Those interested in the post have until September 6 to apply, as the ministry has posted on its website. The NCZI has been headed on a temporary basis by Peter Lukac since April. He filled the post following changes in the deed of foundation by which a three-member board of directors has been scrapped and replaced by a one-member statutory body. Lukac was at the NCZI's helm already in the past. He served as its director from November 2021 until the end of last year. Health Minister Michal Palkovic described his dismissal as "not entirely standard". ko/mcs
