Bratislava, July 13 (TASR) - The extra-parliamentary WeSlovakia (MySlovensko) party is going into the September parliamentary election with the theme of state digitisation, TASR has been told by the party's secretary general Miroslav Seget. The party wants to reduce the number of officials and strengthen other sectors, describing itself as a political startup. The chairman and leader of the slate is Stefan Panenka. WeSlovakia plans to "reduce bureaucracy and organise state processes so that people can go to the office from their living room". It wants to reduce the number of officials by a third in the course of two electoral terms. It doesn't intend to fire officials but to allow them to retire or go to other sectors. "The vacated office buildings will be transformed into retirement homes, nursery schools, starter flats for young people and socially disadvantaged groups and will be filled with health-care workers and teachers. This process will also launch a necessary and long-delayed reform of education and health care," said the party in a statement. The early general election is set to be held on September 30. A total of 24 political parties and one coalition are running. am/df
