Caputova Vetoes Amendment to Law on State Support for Rental Housing

Bratislava, May 26 (TASR) - On Friday, President Zuzana Caputova vetoed the amendment to the law on state support for rental housing, pointing out that the content of the original proposal was one amendment point but during the second reading, an amendment was submitted and approved, which supplemented the law with 23 other, unrelated amendment points. These changes related to the adjustment of the functioning of the Agency for State-supported Rental Housing. From the nature and content of these supplemented amendment points, it's clear that these are factually the most serious, pointed out the head of state. am/mcs
