Bratislava, March 7 (TASR) - Interim Prime Minister Eduard Heger announced on Facebook on Monday evening that he's leaving OLaNO, noting that he has his own vision of politics. "My role and mission in [OLaNO] has been accomplished. I have my own vision of politics. I know that if I want to fulfill it, I have to go my own way," wrote Heger. The premier described his time in OLaNO as one of the most important milestones in his life. "I've been given trust and an opportunity to be part of a government and later to lead our country. My journey with OLaNO was long, we experienced both challenging times and good times. We also made mistakes because we aren't perfect, because we are only human beings," he remarked, wishing OLaNO all the best in its political future. OLaNO leader Igor Matovic thanked Heger for their shared journey and wished him good luck in the comments section. Heger is expected to set up a new political project with interim Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad and Environment Minister Jan Budaj (both OLaNO), for instance. OLaNO caucus head Michal Sipos claimed in a televised debate at the weekend that if Heger left OLaNO, the party wouldn't be hostile towards him, opining that Heger should remain as interim premier until the snap general election. zel/df
