Caputova Lights Up Christmas Tree Together with Disabled Children

Bratislava, December 1 (TASR) - President Zuzana Caputova lit a Christmas tree in front of the Presidential Palace together with children with disabilities and their parents on Thursday, head of the President's Office's communications department Jozef Matej told TASR on the same day. A musical performance by the Bratislava Boys' Choir was a part of the programme as well. Subsequently, the president held a small talk with the children, to whom she then gave out gifts. Last year, during the coronavirus pandemic, the president lit up a Christmas tree in the company of two doctors from the hospital in the Bratislava borough of Ruzinov. ko/mcs
