Kollar Hopeful Medical Unions and Government Will Arrive at Agreement

Bratislava, November 24 (TASR) - Parliamentary Chair Boris Kollar (We Are Family) on Thursday expressed his hope that the Government will reach an agreement with medical trade unions. "I believe that we'll come to an agreement with doctors. Patients must come first for all of us," wrote Kollar on his Facebook account. Talks between the Government and medical trade unions are still ongoing. The Government recently offered a stabilisation bonus to doctors who don't quit, but the unions reacted by stating that this will hardly deal with existing problems at hospitals. zel/df
