Matovic: Four People Could Replace Me as OLaNO Boss, Including Heger

Bratislava, January 4 (TASR) - Finance Minister and OLaNO leader Igor Matovic has admitted in an interview for TASR that he can imagine a number of people replacing him as party boss, including Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OLaNO). "There are at least three or four people to whom we could easily entrust OLaNO, and it would be better off than it is today," he said, refusing to specify any names besides Heger's. According to Matovic, the OLaNO congress held in November expressed unequivocal support for him as current party leader in a vote by secret ballot. "I got the votes of all the people present. They decided to continue to tolerate me at the helm of OLaNO. I'm a little surprised by their decision. They could have chosen better, but what can I do, it's my job now," he said. Addressing possible departures from the party in the near future, the minister claimed that he doesn’t expect any other MPs to leave the OLaNO caucus. A total of two MPs have left the caucus since the start of the current electoral term. zel/df
