Pezinok, December 13 (TASR) - The Specialised Criminal Court ruled on Monday that €500,000 originating from criminal activities of late Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) ex-member Frantisek Bohm will be forfeited to the state, upholding a prosecutor’s motion in the case. At the hearing, the court read out Bohm’s testimony, as well as the testimonies of several witnesses in the case. "The aim of the session was to prove that the act took place, that it was a criminal offence, that it was committed by [Bohm], and that the money originated from criminal activities," the judge explained. Meanwhile, Bohm’s wife and son, who didn’t attend the session, have three days to file an appeal against the decision. Frantisek Bohm shot himself dead on the night of February 12, 2021. He cooperated with the police in the investigation of the Judas and Texan cases. In 2020, Bohm testified that he’d obtained €500,000 in cash via his criminal activities, voluntarily handing over the money to the law-enforcement authorities. The criminal proceedings against him were halted when he committed suicide. zel/mcs/am
