It's Possible to Apply for Vaccination of Children Aged 5-11

Bratislava, October 13 (TASR) - It has been possible since Wednesday to apply for vaccination against COVID-19 of children aged 5 to 11, TASR was told by spokesperson for the Health Ministry Zuzana Eliasova. The vaccination will be carried out in three centres, namely the National Institute for Children's Diseases in Bratislava, Martin University Hospital and Children's University Hospital in Kosice. A condition for vaccination in this age category according to the instructions of the Health Ministry is that there must be a high risk that overcoming COVID-19 could lead to the child suffering serious damage to health, significant worsening of an underlying disease or eventual death. am/mcs
