Bratislava, September 15 (TASR) - Slovakia's coronavirus update for Tuesday, September 14, 2021, according to the National Health Information Centre's (NCZI) special website covid-19.nczisk.sk and the Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation Ministry's website korona.gov.sk: NEW POSITIVE PCR TESTS: 760 Positive PCR tests in total: 399,978 DAILY PCR TESTS: 8,928 PCR tests in total: 3,472,283 NEW POSITIVE ANTIGEN TESTS: 186 Positive antigen tests in total: 387,060 DAILY ANTIGEN TESTS: 16,763 Antigen tests in total: 37,981,118 NEW DEATHS: 4 Deaths in total: 12,566 IN HOSPITAL: 254 (+4) Confirmed COVID-19: 203 (+5) Intensive care: 27 (+0) Lung ventilation: 20 (+2) NEWLY VACCINATED (1st dose): 2,646 In total (1st dose): 2,412,018 NEWLY VACCINATED (2nd dose): 3,409 In total (2nd dose): 2,280,896 INACTIVE CASES IN TOTAL*: 720,267 (updated each Wednesday) * According to the Health Ministry, inactive cases indicate the number of people who have recovered from the infection, with or without symptoms. For people who weren't admitted into hospital, between two and four weeks have passed since their positive test, while six weeks have passed for people who were admitted into hospital with COVID-19. These numbers concern all infections with SARS-CoV-2, detected either by PCR or antigen tests. COVID deaths aren't included. bub
