Trencin, July 27 (TASR) - Trencin police reported on Tuesday that they have pressed charges of theft against a 22-year-old Georgian native who went on a shoplifting spree at a local shopping centre. According to the police, the man tried to steal alcohol, food, a hair straightener, a blender, an LED lamp, headphones and various small electronic devices, putting the items directly into his backpack. The man's stealing frenzy was brought to an end by security guards, but not before he had managed to cause damage worth €307. If found guilty, the Georgian native could spent up to two years behind bars. zel/df
