President Caputova Meets Danish Crown Prince Frederik in Copenhagen

Copenhagen/Bratislava, May 10 (TASR-correspondent) - President Zuzana Caputova met Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark in the Frederik VIII Palace in Copenhagen on Monday. As part of her visit to Denmark, Caputova will deliver a speech at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit and visit the State of Green Agency and the European Environmental Agency. Along with a team of Slovak scientists, she is also slated to visit the Danish state institute of serology with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic. On Tuesday the Slovak president will meet Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Ivan Gasparovic was the last Slovak president to visit Denmark nine years ago. He paid a visit to the country based on the invitation from Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and her husband Prince Henri. The visit had a strong economic dimension, as it was aimed at boosting co-operation with this constitutional monarchy. ko/mcs
