Bratislava, April 19 (TASR) - The Czech Republic made the correct decision by expelling 18 diplomats over the alleged involvement of Russian secret services in an explosion in an ammunition warehouse seven years ago, Slovakia's co-governing Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party has stated. "These reports are shocking for us. SaS believes that Slovakia's Security Council should be convened," said SaS spokesman Ondrej Sprlak. Another co-governing party, For the People, said that it wanted reassurance from the Slovak security forces that the activities of Russian diplomats in Slovakia are under control. In response to the incident in Vrbetice, the Czech Republic over the weekend announced that it was expelling 18 diplomats who have been identified as secret agents from the Russian Embassy in Praque. The Czech police also announced that in connection with the incident, they're searching for two Russians - allegedly the same individuals who were involved in the Skripal poisoning attack in Salisbury in the UK in 2018. bub/df
