Government's Experts Discuss Removing Testing from COVID-automaton

Bratislava, April 8 (TASR) - The Slovak government's scientific advisory team on Thursday debated the possibility of removing regular testing of the population from the COVID-automaton and options for introducing an independent testing strategy, TASR was told by Health Ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova. The meeting was also attended by Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky and Chief Hygienist Jan Mikas. "As for the testing strategy, there was a discussion about self-testing, testing at schools and closed groups," said Eliasova, adding that the issue should also be debated by the government's Pandemic Commission and later the Cabinet. bub/mcs
