Voice-SD: With Trip to Russia Matovic Denied New Premier's Authority

Bratislava, April 8 (TASR) - By going on a trip to Russia, Finance Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) is interfering in the powers of the foreign affairs and health ministers, completely denying the authority of the new prime minister, the extra-parliamentary Voice-SD party stated on Thursday. "Igor Matovic's arbitrary trip to Moscow and Budapest confirms that Slovakia today doesn't have Eduard Heger's (OLaNO) Government, but the second government of Igor Matovic," said the party, adding that it's unacceptable for the ministers concerned and the coalition partners to pretend that Matovic's approach is in order. "Igor Matovic wants to continue to rule Slovakia as a sultan without any rules and to continue to generate conflicts in the government and in the whole country," said Voice-SD. The situation in Slovakia cannot be resolved by a farce in the form of the government reconstruction, with all the original ministers returning except Marek Krajci, stated the party. Matovic is to meet Russian Direct Investment Fund executive director Kirill Dmitriev in Moscow on Thursday. According to the Finance Ministry, they'll speak about the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. "The meeting aims to resolve technical matters related to the implementation of supplies of this vaccine to Slovakia," said the ministry. am/df
