Gov't to Discuss Measures that Came up from Matovic's Talks with Experts

Bratislava, February 28 (TASR) - The measures that came up from the talks between Prime Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) and experts are high on the agenda of the online Cabinet session starting at 4 p.m. on Sunday. According to the draft measures available to TASR, the aim over the next three weeks will be to reduce mobility, slow down the spread of the infection, prevent new coronavirus variants from being imported from high-risk countries and slow down the growth in the number of patients admitted to hospitals. The exact agenda of the Government session hasn't been published. The draft measures have been divided in ten areas that include several specific measures. "If the desired effect fails to be achieved by March 21, a hard lockdown, shut down of production and closure of the country will be prepared," reads the draft available to TASR. ko
