Caputova: Outpatient Care Key for Saving Lives

Bratislava, February 25 (TASR) - Outpatient care for COVID-19 patients is key for saving lives and reducing the number of hospital admissions, President Zuzana Caputova stated on Thursday on her Facebook account. "We often hear that this area has its issues, however," she remarked, revealing that she"s met representatives of general practitioners and outpatient doctors to discuss the state of outpatient care in the country. According to the president, the representatives claimed that there"s a notable difference between the numbers of outpatients admitted before and during the pandemic. Caputova noted in this regard that she"s of the opinion outpatients would benefit from improved communication with the Health Ministry, clear information about various therapies and support treatment.
