Bratislava, February 23 (TASR) - Health Minister Marek Krajci (OLaNO) will stay in his post, as he doesn't find it appropriate to run from the battlefield, TASR learnt on Tuesday. Speaking at a press conference, Krajci claimed that he was saddened by the responses of some coalition partners, but he still enjoys support from Prime Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) and the OLaNO caucus. "I must say frankly that, of course, I'm saddened by the reaction of Mr. (Richard) Sulik (SaS) and also some lawmakers of For the People party, who call on me to assume political responsibility over the situation that has happened. On the other hand, I have very strong support from Mr. Prime Minister and my own caucus. In such a situation, I don't find it really appropriate to flee from the battlefield," he said. Earlier in the day, House Chair Boris Kollar (We Are Family) confirmed that the potential resignation by the Health Minister was discussed at the meeting of four coalition leaders. However, Kollar didn't detail whether the resignation is on the table and added that the final say is up to the Prime Minister. mf/mcs
