Speaking on RTVS's talk show 'Sobotne dialogy' (Saturday Dialogues), Independent MP and leader of the extra-parliamentary Voice-SD party Peter Pellegrini said that the death of key witness Frantisek Bohm raises many questions and gives the impression that something is wrong in the country.
The ex-premier pointed out that a suicide is attempted by not only the accused in custody, which was the case of late ex-police president Milan Lucansky, or the attempt to end life by former judge Monika J. (name abbreviated due to legal reasons) but also by people who co-operate with the police and are in the position of witnesses. "Something's wrong, it's bothering me," said Pellegrini.
In this context, Parliamentary Chair Boris Kollar (We Are Family) expressed his regret over the situation. "Such things shouldn't end in death, I'm humanly sorry, it's a pity that a life has been lost," added Kollar.
