Defence Ministry: 14,529 People Tested by Sunday Noon, with 2.62% Positive

Bratislava, November 22 (TASR) - A total of 14,529 people were tested for novel coronavirus at 445 sampling points by Sunday noon, the second day of the weekend testing, with 380 or 2.62 percent of them being tested positive, TASR learnt from spokeswoman for the Defence Ministry Martina Koval Kakascikova on the same day. "The Slovak Armed Forces, together with all the units involved, have done their best again to ensure mass testing. Their work is an offered helping hand and I'd be very happy if our inhabitants received it. I therefore want to encourage all those who haven't yet come to find out their health condition to the sampling points - testing is free, safe, it only takes a moment but it can save lives," said Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad (OLaNO). The testing is taking place in selected towns and municipalities in Slovakia on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. am
