Bratislava, May 23 (TASR) - The Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry has strongly condemned the statements made by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei against the State of Israel on Friday (May 22). "The ministry views the statements like these as unacceptable. It calls for the end to such statements and threats that are at odds with standards of behaviour and communication between countries," TASR has learnt from ministry's press secretary Juraj Tomaga. The Iranian supreme leader said it was an "Islamic duty" to fight for the liberation of Palestine in a landmark speech on Friday amid rising tensions with Israel. "The aim of this struggle is the liberation of the entire Palestinian land and the return of all Palestinians to their country," Khamenei said in the speech broadcast live on state television. ko
