House Passes Ban on Sale of High Performance Respirators to Public

Bratislava, April 3 (TASR) - The Slovak Parliament on Friday approved new extraordinary measures to contain the spread of novel coronavirus, including a ban on the sale of FFP2, FFP3 and KN95 respirators to the general public. Private individuals who violate the ban should be fined from €500 to €1,000 and legal entities from €1,000 to €10,000. Aiming to secure the best possible health care for the public, the bill also stipulates the option of imposing certain emergency measures in the protection of public health and drugs policy. bub/df
