Bratislava, March 25 (TASR) - A total of 74 tonnes of medical material from China was transported to Slovakia on Wednesday, TASR learnt from Leon Zazrivy of the Defence Ministry press department on the same day. "Professional soldiers helped with the transport of the medical material, designed to help fight the new coronavirus, from the Bratislava airport [to the State Material Reserves Administration premises]. I'm, therefore, quite glad that our troops serve as the support that the inhabitants of Slovakia can count on," declared Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad (OLaNO). The transport of medical material was carried out via the NATO-SALIS programme with the use of large-capacity aircraft. "The delivery contains face masks, gloves and protective biosuits," added Zazrivy. mf/mcs/am
