Pellegrini: Glvac's Fate Not Up to Me to Decide at This Moment

Kezmarok, October 23 (TASR) - Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) won't be making any judgements on Parliamentary Vice-chair Martin Glvac (Smer-SD) at this stage over leaked chat messages that the latter allegedly exchanged with Marian K., as Glvac's fate isn't up to Pellegrini to decide, TASR was told on Wednesday. "I'm on the road at the moment. I'll come back at the end of the week and we'll meet at Smer headquarters. We need to decide what course of action to take in these cases in order not to traumatise the public, but also not to "execute" someone unjustly," stated Pellegrini prior to the away-from-home Government session in Kezmarok (Presov region). Pellegrini also assured reporters that Glvac's chat messages will be discussed within Smer-SD and not overlooked. "I can promise you that we've been discussing this, but no one should expect a spur-of-the-moment response from us - that we'll cut off someone's head the moment anyone shouts anything. There's a process for everything. If this turns out to be serious, the consequences will be serious as well. If not, the consequences won't be, either," he added. mf/df
