Bratislava, September 12 (TASR) - M.R. Stefanik Airport in Bratislava processed 326,250 passengers in August, airport spokeswoman Veronika Sevcikova told TASR on Thursday. This is the second highest number of passengers in August since the airport was opened and the three-hundred-thousand passenger threshold has so far been exceeded by the airport in August only for the second time in its 68-year history. Meanwhile, the airport saw 3,315 flights in August and 19,770 flights since the beginning of the year. "During the eight months of this year, Bratislava Airport processed almost 1,602,135 passengers, up 15,000 percent compared to the same period of last year," said Sevcikova. From the beginning of the year to the end of August, the largest number of passengers used scheduled flights to London, Antalya, Dublin, Kiev and Moscow and back, added Sevcikova. ko
